The big question that has always been on my mind since I was young is, “How does one become rich or wealthy.” Coming up with hard-working parents who are extremely driven even to this day created a curiosity within me on how I can become rich. My parents are lawyers, and when they married, they opened up their own law firm together in Whittier, Ca(Armando Villegas & Associates). I grew up seeing them and thinking how amazing it is how successful they are coming from immigrant parents, and my mother even came over to the states when she was seven. So, since I was young, I have always thought if they are this successful, I should be three times as wealthy as them since they have paved the way for me. At the same time, I don’t believe school teaches the student how to become rich and successful rather just shows us how to become good employees. My answer to becoming wealthy is to work hard and be knowledgeable. Sadly, becoming successful is not that easy; you also need a plan set out so that way you can accomplish your end goal of becoming rich. Sadly, working hard at Mcdonald’s will never make me rich, so one must work hard in the right areas. I would start by asking my parents than other successful people in my life. After meeting them, I would ask a few questions, such as how they stay consistent or what major components led to their success. Also, I would ask if I should continue going to school or if I should just drop out and focus on working. There have been many success stories that I can learn from and try to resemble that I may be successful. Becoming rich has been answered, but every success story is different, so the only true answer would be working hard for what you love.
I enjoyed this video and wanted to share it because it is informative on what young people like me must do to pave our way to success. He gives us guidelines and structures that we miscarry with us that other successful people do and continue to practice. Practicing and learning from those who accomplished before us is a perfect way to gain and learn ways to succeed.
